We submitted our review paper! It aims to establish the base for future publications of the EUROPONDS project, collecting knowledge about permanent ponds and their ecological role, especially focusing on emerging insects.

We participated in the SEFS12: Biljana and Lena were co-chairing sessions in the SS03 on small water bodies in the landscape, presentations on the EUROPONDS project and on an individual pond of our dataset in Spain were given. Marina and Pablo even received the first prize of the postersession!

February 2021

Winter season sampling is conducted by all the EUROPONDS teams. This is a highly artifical pond in Spain - even there we found emerging insects !
